… and while you’re on the topic of the El Bait Shop, thought I’d let you know that a co-worker of mine who is a member of the Iowa Brewers Union will be pouring from a keg of one of his home brews at that locale on Thursday Sept. 6 (and he’s also on the schedule for Oct. 11 and Nov. 15). Evidently, one of the club members will be on tap every Thursday night. The program is going to be called “Jimmy Carter Happy Hour” in honor of the president who legalized home brewing back in 1978. Not sure what will be on tap on Sept. 6 (except he said it would be a strong one).
