New Belgium is Coming

Don’t forget that New Belgium is coming to Des Moines this Saturday. They are having a special event at El Bait Shop. New Belgium will be raffling off one of their signature bicycles and giving away a bunch of prizes straight from the brewery in Fort Collins, CO. From 8 to midnight Baber’s Neighbors is playing and the new beers will be on special for $5.00 a 22oz bottle. The beers are Fat Tire, Mothership Wit (organic), and 1554.

I am planning to ride down town from my house and stop off at Center for lap on the trail before getting downtown by noon. I will be nice and thirsty by then.

If anyone wants to ride down with me or meet at Center for a quick lap just let me know. I should leave my place around 9:00 AM.

I am looking forward to kegs being available. But I am going to have to wait a few weeks for that. Here is a poster made of corrugated cardboard I picked up off eBay last week. I need to get a frame for it and find a place for it in the pub.
