Last night Terra and I headed over to AK’s to listen to some music. Unfortunately it was under the worst of circumstances. Local musicians, many I consider friends, were putting on a memorial music tribute show for Rich Moran. Rich was a local bartender mixologist and loved by many people. Terra and I did not know Rich personally but he served us a few pints and bloody marys over the years. Playing was Jason Walsmith, Mike Butterworth and Becca Smith from The Nadas, Dick Prall, Ben Wantland, Andy Flemming, Josh Davis, Tony Bohnenkamp and a handful of others.
I shot a lot of iPhone photos that actually turned out pretty good for the low light. All of these were taken with my iPhone 4 and added a few filters with the PictureShow app.
Blogging geek Dad that loves to do long runs, ride his bikes, partake in frosty beverages, listen to live music, watch movies, hike high into the mountains, and hang out with his family doing any of the above. Oh, and write code late into the wee hours of the morning.
Hey Ed, thanks so much for capturing this magical evening! I think that everyone there really enjoyed it for what it was, but very few people had the foresight to record the events which transpired. Thanks again. Great to see you, my friend!
