Super Bowl Weekend
I had two buddies come down for the Super Bowl this year from Wisonsin. On their way they picked up my nephew Justin from the Quad Cities. I have not seen Justin since my Dad’s funeral. That was around 10 years ago. Justin was about 13 I think at the time. Justin and I have been talking online for the past few months so I invited him to The House of Husar for the Super Bowl festivities. Everyone arrived on Saturday. We hung out and played Guitar Hero, darts and some pool while polishing off a few pints before Terra and I took them out to see The Josh Davis Band at People’s. JD and the crew put on a great show. We all had a really good time and put away a few more pints before heading back home and sleeping off the fun.
Sunday we sat around and watched a few movies before the Super Bowl started. Another friend named Justin came by after picking up his girlfriend Sara from work. We all watched the Giants beat the Pats. After the game we played SceneIt on the Xbox 360. Scene It was a blast but Sara kicked our butts! Then we finished out the night with some Guitar Hero and finally pool.
If you want to relive the fun then watch this motion capture video. I used Gawker and the built in camera on my Macbook Pro. I had it set to take a photo every 10 seconds. I started the video rolling around 5:00 just before the game started and it ended around 2:00 AM.

Maybe you should move the camera next time, all I saw were a bunch of butts!
Just think you missed out and could have had your butt on there too! You missed a pretty good time Mel. You should have come down for the weekend.
I kept stopping it all the way through. I identified one of the dudes from WI. We used to go up to top of his house and throw crap at cars down below (McIndoe St). Do I know the other one?
Don, it was Chris Lange and Cory Poulin. I am not sure you know Cory. He did not go to school with us. I know him from the Army and he lives in Wausau since getting out in 90.
I swear I saw Immel. I figured Chris was there but I couldn’t identify him. I believe I met Cory on an occasion or two.
THE BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!!!!!
