I picked up some new speaker for the basement a few weeks ago. I have been so busy that I have not had a chance to put them in. I never had surround down in the pub so I pick up a Sony center and a set of front speakers to replace my Bose I have down there now. I still have my two rear speakers in place. Those are Sony as well. I am not a Sony fan at all but the price was right for what I needed. Here is a photo of the two front and center channel.
I guess I did not pay attention to their size when I bought them from Amazon. They are bigger than I wanted but I guess they will do for now. When I get HD upstairs then I guess I can move them up to the living room. Here are the surround speakers I have in place now. They do a pretty good job for the price.
Right now the rear left speaker is not all the way to the far left of the back room so I plan to move that. When I get all the speakers place I will get some more photos up.
I have also done a little more design in the basement. Hanging things up here an there. I did this for the Super Bowl party. Here are two photos of the Killian’s sign I moved and a photo of the back wall that you back is to when you are sitting on the long part of the bar.
If you look at the last photo there you will see a big Guinness banner. It has a big open space to write on. I would love to get my buddy Carter over here to free hand a drawing on that. Carter is a super talented artist and can draw his butt off. Jason could probably do a good job as well but you can’t get that guy out of the house these days even if the house of burning down. Well I guess to get him over to The House of Husar anyway.

Dude, there will be time for me to party. I just need to focus on my kids right now. That and my kids can put holes in the drywall, so I can’t leave them with someone else without it costing me about $200 large in damages. Brats.

Ed…Whatever happened to the theater room you were building? Is it finished?
It is still in progress. Guess I need to make a few updates this weekend and post some more photos! I have just about everything I need to finish up the material on the walls and mount my theater seats.
