Bamboo Bike Project
Tyson sent me this link today. It is the Bamboo Bike Project. I think I have seen a bike covered in bamboo some place online before but not an entire frame built out of bamboo. Very cool indeed. “The Bamboo Bike Project is a collaboration between scientists and engineers at Columbia University and a bicycle builder from Calfee Design. The project has been initiated with seed funding from The Earth Institute at Columbia University. Understanding Earth as one integrated system, The Earth Institute at Columbia University is working to achieve sustainable development through education, scientific research, and action.
