Downtown Saturday

Terra and the kids were going up to Wisconsin this weekend to meet her parents and see the grandparents. But a big snow storm was brewing up north so they canceled those plans. Instead they headed down to KC and her parents were going to meet them at Terra’s sister’s house. Marlee decided to hang out with me and stay home.

So Saturday Marlee and I decided to go and mess around downtown in the East Village. I wanted to find a tea shop a co-working of mine gets me tea from. I was planning to take my camera but the batteries were dead. Bummer. We found the tea shop and a few other nice places and just walked around for a while. I wish I had my camera with me but no dice. I did manage to snap this one with the camera phone.

I would have gone back down to take photos but it was just too cold on Sunday. Spring is close but not here just yet. I did manage to find a cool building that I think will work for the current 1:1000 theme. I just need to get back down there and shoot some time this week. Tuesday Hello Dave is playing in the East Village so I think I will get down there and try to get a few photos in.
