Blog Is Getting Better
Hello this is Ed’s blog, a.k.a.,
The House of Husar. I just wanted to tell you that I am sick right now. I had to have one of my database tables removed and a replacement was put in. It was a tricky operation but Ed is doing his best to be get me back to full health. In the mean time if you find anything I am missing please let me know. I will make sure Ed is aware of it.
The result of having one of my tables removed was not so good. First it made me think I needed to reinstall myself. So all weekend people were trying to create blogs since they were getting my installation screen. I really appreciated everyone trying to setup blogs but Ed was not too happy. We tried to get a valid backup form our host buy they just did a backup and it had the bad table in it. Ahhh! I had to go under the knife. So Ed had to delete the bad table and do a quick install. The impact of doing that was all my pages became posts. Ed is currently hunting them down in the database and I think he has got them all. We still need to do some looking around and rebuild a few things. But for the most part I, blog, am back but not entirely health.

Also, Ed has photos of his new ink work that he needs to get online. He has shown me the photo and the color looks great. I can’t want to share them with you.

Glad to see that you got it back up and running. Do you know if this was the result of not updating to the WP 2.5 or just someone that was a good hacker?
I think something happened on the server with my host. Then that locked up the wp-options table. I couldn’t unlock or fix the table at all. So WP thought it was not installed. I had to blow the table away and install again.
I will upgrade this weekend and hope for the best.
