I don’t listen to a lot of female singers. Not sure why really. It is very few that really catch my interest sonicly. I came across Audra Brown by accident this week. That is one thing I really like about Amie Street. You can find great music without really looking for it.
For this weeks ASMW I selected No Cloudy Days since it has been raining for weeks now here in the Midwest. Pretty fitting I think. Audra’s voice sounds really familiar but I can’t place it. Maybe that is what makes me want to listen to more. I picked up the entire album this week. It was only $1.80 when I bought it. Hell of a deal. I am sure it won’t be that price much longer.

I was expecting much older from her sound. You have to love it when a kid can get it all together and lay it out for the world to her. Good stuff so give it a listen.
It kinds of stinks since the samples are really short that she has on Amie Street. You really need to get the full album and give it a listen to really appreciate this one.
Blogging geek Dad that loves to do long runs, ride his bikes, partake in frosty beverages, listen to live music, watch movies, hike high into the mountains, and hang out with his family doing any of the above. Oh, and write code late into the wee hours of the morning.
Husar: Great pick. I have not been able to listen to all of the samples yet, but I just decided to buy it. What the hey right. I have a headset in one ear and her in the back ground while I’m on the phone. From what I can tune in it sounds great. Thanks for the ASMW.
