Barclay’s English Premier: Week 6
We are into week six already for the EP. Things are going well for Arsenal but this week they were beat by Hull or all teams. But to Hull’s credit they did have some great strikes that went in the net. As of last week I went into second place and have a decent lead over Dave. Dave has no excuse since he lives in England. And Tyson is making good points trying to make up for missing week one. Here are the points as of week 6.
Ronan has a good lead on us but I think the Gaelic season is starting up soon in Ireland so that means his attention is elsewhere for a while I hope. Time to sneak up on him and get some points back.
Here were my points this week. Pretty happy since I made two subs and that cost me an extra 4 points. But I made up for it and then some on my new transfer in so it paid off.

OH AND technically I have probably held this position for several days/weeks/months already as several of my comments have ‘mysteriously’ disappeared over the last year.

Dude! I told you Hull City is where it’s at man! I just watched the game last night…awesome baby! Your Gunners shots were reminding me of Preki on his bad nights.

Did I mention that I really have no clue how this freaking works?! Two weeks ago it took me like 15 minutes to figure out how to trade players…and then I didn’t realize it cost me points! I’m sure if I took the time and read the details (owners manual anyone?) it would make sense. I’m just flying by night right now. I think it should just be team based….not individual players that you have to keep track of every week.
If you notice, BethAnn doesn’t post anything related to the topic and she does like 3 posts.
But the football site is really easy Tyson. You only get one transfer a week. Otherwise you take a 4 point penalty for each trade. That is all you really need to keep in mind. Each week make sure the players you have selected that their team is playing. That is a big one. If they don’t play you don’t get any points. I make a trade almost every week.
Hull City has done really well so far this year. The Arsenal game was great. I was watching it live. When Hull scored that first goal it was a rocket man! I couldn’t believe it!
Ahhh, that is good to know, as I made like 4 trades that first time. And I didn’t realize all teams don’t play every week. Shows how much I currently know! Thanks big daddy!
