30 Run Challange: 3 of 30
“I wear the black for the poor and the beaten down,
Livin’ in the hopeless, hungry side of town,
I wear it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime,
But is there because he’s a victim of the times.” That is me in all back ready to hit the icy road of pain and misery. That is about my mind set when I run. The Cash lyrics really have nothing to do with me wearing black but what the heck.
Here was the path tonight. I need to get more consistent between my runs if I am going to increase the milage. Also I need to get away from the neighborhood. Staying close to home makes it too easy to just hang a left and be back home. I am weak minded when it comes to running.
If you want to see the speed, elevation, and pace head on over the the PathTracks website to view this run at http://www.pathtracks.com/users/13136/paths/57996.
After I got home this was the conversation with Ella while I was making my tacos.
Ed, tired from the run: “Oh, I am getting old.”
Ella: “You ARE getting old Daddy.”
Ed: “Ella, you are suppose to say I am a spring chicken.”
Ella, “I am a spring chicken.”
