Noah decided not to play soccer this year. I am fine with it as long as he finds something else athletic to keep him busy. Looks like it is going to be rock climbing and mountain biking this spring.

To get things started we picked up a new 2008 Specialized Rockhopper for him at Rassy’s Wednesday night. He is up to 26” rims so this is a bigger horse for him. It gives him plenty of growing room. The biggest change is finger/thumb shifters. Kids bikes usually have the twist shifters. Noah never could get to all his gear and they were so stiff. Twist shifters on his Trek gave him blisters every time we rode. Now with finger/thumb shifters he is loving it. He is rolling a much better font suspension that actually does move now.

We stopped off at Subway for dinner the night we picked it up and he had to ride it home the 5 blocks. He was pretty funny.

Not the best photo but here is Noah proud of his new horse in front of Rassy’s.

Wondering where Rassy’s is? Check out this photo on Pindropr!

  1. That’s great, Ed. Look forward to seeing Noah on the trails this spring!

  2. Cool ride Noah! I’m thinking that we need to start a ride similar to Taco Ride for the kids. Include the DQ across from Rassy’s, it would probably have to be on Tues or Thurs. “The Blizzard Ride”, A ride to the Dilly Bar? (prob not). hehehe

  3. Sweet ride! Noah’s rockin’ a better ride than what I have.
