iPhone App: Lifecards
It is rare that you find an iPhone app that can hold its own against a desktop app. Recently I was given an itune free code from Glyn over at the iPhoneography website. If you have an iPhone and are into photography then you need to read Glyn’s blog daily. He has all the photography apps before or when then they are released. No need to go looking for the recently release photo apps. Glyn has them covered. Plus he gives away codes for free apps all the time!
But back to Lifecards. Lifecards is one nice app. In a nutshell it lets you create postcards from your photos. There are hundreds of layout options to choose from. Both single sided and double sided cards are supports. Photos only or photos and text. Single photo or up to four photos on a postcard is supported. There is also a full array of text options that cover font face, font size, and font color. You can zoom and rotate the photos you add into the cards as well. It really is a full featured app that can rival a desktop app.

Here is a list of features:
- More than 350 templates in 20 categories with more to come.
- Up-to 4 photos per template.
- Control scale, position, and rotating of photos.
- Control alignment, color, size, and font of text.
- Complex visual engine allows free pan and zoom while manipulating card.
- Automatically adapts to landscape and portrait mode.
- Save cards to finish them later
- Automatic save and restore when you exit and reenter the application
- Change templates without changing contents
You can check out even more details about the Lifecards app over at Vivid Apps website at http://www.mexircus.com/Lifecards/index.html
Here are two examples I have on my flickr account that I create tonight. I really like the Lifecards app and will be using it a lot. This will be a great way to pindrop postcards on my Pindropr website. I did add the first post card below to Pindropr. You can access it here http://www.pindropr.com/?pin=1436

Ed, nice mini review, thanks for the link back and glad you like the app.
