Saturday I swung down to People’s early to meet with Skyler to set up my video camera for the live steam of The Nadas show. I really wanted to get my helmet cam running but I failed. Grrrrrr! I just couldn’t get the feed coming from the helmet cam working. It really pissed me off too. I am not sure why either. Today I am on a mission to get it working so I am ready for next time. The helmet cam is about 170 degree view and would be great for streaming live music. Next time I get to help with the camera I will have it working!
Terra and I were there really early and then BethAnn met us at the show later. The place was packed and later found out later It was sold out. The Nadas put on a great show. It might have been the best Nada’s show I have been to. Liz Clark opened up the night. This was the first I have heard of Liz and she is also playing at A.K.’s in Beaverdale tonight. I might try and get over there for a few hours. Bonne Frikin also played with her band.
The Nadas played some songs from their Almanac project. If you have not heard about Almanac yet check it out at http://www.thenadas.com/almanac/about.html. I am have not currently joined but plan to at some time soon.
All I had was my iPhone for a few photos. They are pretty blurry but you get the idea. The iPhone doesn’t do too well in low light.
Terra is now asking me for a Nada’s mix CD so I need to get working on that for her.

It was the best Nada’s show ever because I WAS THERE! Admit it I ROCK!
