Inwall Install Update
My Father Inlaw and I worked on the inwall speakers today. I found the studs and cut the holes without much issue. Father inlaw and I fished the wire and it was a son of a beach. We finally got the wires fished okay.
We just finished a game of Scene It on the Xbox 360 and we are now watching a movie. I won the movie trivia on Scene It (again).
Look for finished photos tomorrow. Very happy with the final results!
Here are the build photos.

Nice install job! The wife and I have been thinking of installing speakers in the ceiling for surround sound. I just can’t quite commit to cutting into the drywall. I guess I should just man up and do it…
Cutting the holes was the easy part. Fishing the wire was hard. It took a good number of tries going from the left speaker to the right speaker. I think I had to span 4 2x3s behind the drywall.
You’ve given me hope. The next project on our list is to seal the garage to give it that professional appearance. Next up, the surround sound. Thanks Ed!
