Pirates are Killing Me!
Killing me as in making me crack up! I have been all over the pirate saga for a while now. I was just reading a new updated on CNN about the pirates wanted to take revenge on US and French ships. Read this…
“It was a revenge,” Hassan Mohamud told a Somali journalist. “The U.S. ship escaped by a matter of chance.”
“We sent out 14 boats full of well-armed men, and we are looking for vessels of U.S. and French nationals,” said Hassan Mohamud, a pirate leader based Gara’ad in Puntland, a semi-autonomous Somali region with a long coastline along the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden.
“The U.S. and French governments should know this because they started the aggression on us,” he said.
Other pirates in the region have also vowed revenge since the U.S. Navy freed Phillips on Sunday.
Doesn’t the part in bold just crack you up! I started laughing right away. We started the aggression? Dude, you tried to hijack a ship and took someone hostage. How is God’s name could they think that we started anything? It is like they think they have the right to takes ships/people for ransom. Like it is a legal business. I think the butt pirate graphic pretty much sums it up.
