PLEX Updates
Since the last Plex update I have not had a chance to check out the latest and greatest. But tonight I was settling in for my nightly round to music on Last.fm via Plex. I looked at the screen saver options for something new. I saw “Current Playing” and I am pretty sure it is new to the screen saver options. If not I totally missed it before. But I selected that one and found a very nice display of the cover art, artist, album, song title, progress bar of current playing track, and next track information. It is now the default display when I am listening to music on Plex. Check out the screen shots.
Also, if you were not aware you can use any iTunes screen saver in Plex. Just download the screen saver from the web and place them in your /Users/username/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins folder. Plex will find then and give you the option in your preferences.
Two worthy of downloading are Gaslight and Magnetosphere.
