When my Swobo Sanchez arrived I decided to set up my Macbook Pro and shoot the unboxing and assembly. I had a little fun with the video in iMovie tonight. Total time to assemble the bike was less than 15. I sped up the video and adding in some text to keep your interest along with way.
If you ever thought about ordering a bike online and were worried about what goes into putting it together this video should help. The fine people at Swobo make it really easy.
The video is about 25MB.

Blogging geek Dad that loves to do long runs, ride his bikes, partake in frosty beverages, listen to live music, watch movies, hike high into the mountains, and hang out with his family doing any of the above. Oh, and write code late into the wee hours of the morning.
LOVE IT!!!!! More, videos like this, please!!! What did you use to record the video, and what did you use to edit it?
OK, maybe I should read the accompanying text before hounding you with questions. #2=iMovie
Also, send that to SWOBO, if you haven’t already.
I took my MacBook and put it on a chair from the deck in my driveway. Then fired up iMovie and recorded the movie with the built in iSight camera. No external camera was used. I just recorded stop to finish. Then edit it right in iMovie. For the Words popping up I created PNGs in Photoshop with transparent backgrounds. I just dropped them on the movie and moved them to where they needed to be. Finally I sped up the video about 3x normal.
I did send the video to Swobo. They twittered it so a good number of people should drop by and a look.
Next video I will have to get me learning how to skid stop on the fixie. I finally got my body position down and started doing it last night. Fun stuff!
