ShiftTilt Photography iPhone App
I was bored with all the rain we are getting so did a little searching for new iPHone photography apps. I found a good one called TiltShiftGen. If you are not familiar with tilt shift photography it is very cool effect that makes a photo look like a miniature model scene.
For a great example check out this photo from http://www.tiltshiftphotography.net/
That photo is not a model but a photo that had the tilt shift effect added to it. You can actually buy a tilt shift lens but they are a $1000 easy.
Tilt-Shift miniature faking is a creative technique whereby a photograph of a life-size location or object is manipulated to give an optical illusion of a photograph of a miniature scale model.
I really did not have the right settings to test the TiltShiftGen since it was raining out. But I pulled a few leaves together for a few quick shots on the back deck. Each of these have difference settings to them via the iPhone app. You might have a hard time telling the difference between a few of them.
There is a nice Photoshop tutorial here. When I get a change to shoot something on my iPhone that lends itself better to the app I will post them.

I always wanted to get into tilt shift photography, but as you pointed out the lenses are quite expensive. I think I’ll have to investigate a plugin for Photoshop. Great pics!
