I am pretty sure we will have to put our dog Duchess down this summer. Maybe she will last until next winter but something inside me doesn’t want to do it in the winter. I can’t really say why. Winters are depressing enough without making it worse I guess.

Being an animal lover, it’s difficult to watch that video and not tear up a bit. I’m sure it’s a painful decision to have to put a pet to sleep. I hope I can meet that challenge as bravely as you do when our cat gets on in age. Please give Duchess a pat on the head for me.
