Terra has never rode a subway before. We went down to Hollywood Blvd. one night to get in our tourist fix. It was $30 for a cab and $2.50 on the subway. You have to love mass transit systems! I was in California this week for the Abobe MAX conference. Terra came with me. Also Randy from work and his wife Jill. We had a great time and had plenty of time to enjoy sunny California. Here is the LA conference center. We ate twice at the Yard House at LA Live. Great selection of beer. Randy and I enjoyed half yards of Moose Drool. I was hungry and ordered brats and pretzels. Our second day in CA we rented beach cruisers and rode from Hermosa Beach to Santa Monica. 30 miles round trip on rented bikes is always a challenge but the view was incredible. We started out the day eating breakfast at Hennessey’s. The girls lead the way as me all gawked at multiple-million dollar beach houses and dreamed about winning the lottery. We met Terra’s cousin in Long Beach yesterday for dinner. It was great to see him. We had dinner at a sea food place with the Queen Marry ship in our view. Company was great but the food was just okay. It was a rainy day in Southern California so traffic was worse than normal. It did not clear up until we made the 23 mile 1 hour drive in LA traffic.
