High Water & Scars
I took a few hours tonight to catch some live music downtown. I rode my bike down alone and checked things out. After listening to Scars on 45 at the Des Moines Art Festival I headed over to Nightfall on the River to try and catch The Nadas. I had to leave before The Nadas started but I did manage to get a photo of how high the water is. Check out this photo and the stairs. Normally you can walk down the stairs and around the back of the stage. Right now you can’t get down the stairs at all. The river is about 4 feet from flooding the lawn. This coming weekend the speakers should make their way to me from Kansas City via my future brother in-law. He has started his own Low-Volt Wiring, Home Theater, TV Hangs, Control Systems and Computer Repair small business called Long Wire.
