Replaced iPhone 4 Front Screen
Been so busy I never mentioned that I broke my front screen to my iPhone 4 on vacation in CO. As I am sure you can imagine I was devastated. That is not exaggeration either. Well last week I just couldn’t take it any longer and broke down and bought a new screen. I was determined to DYI the work. Parts cost with $164 with two tools I needed. Three hours later I have a new screen in the phone. You don’t even want to know how many screws I have to take out and put back in. I ended up recording the entire thing and streamed it live on Ustream. The recording is below. It is...

The kids started school yesterday. Where did the summer go to? I think it dropped to 55 degrees last night so the summer is ending for sure. Just a few photos of the kids from yesterday. I have been thinking about building a blog just for fitness updates for some time. To take it one step further my idea was to make it a social blog with more than just me blogging and tracking my fitness goals. I am happy to say that the site is up and rolling along at full speed. This is the reason I have not been blogging much here lately. I have been busy, head down, writing a bunch of custom WordPress plugins to make my idea work how I want. Other than some layout things I am still working no I am very happy with the results so far. I have a handful of friends posting their fitness...
Read MoreTerra’s Latest Sewing Adventures
I thought I would post a few photos from Terra’s latest sewing adventures. In the photos below are a few shirts that she created for our nephew. Also a block that is pretty nice, matches the tie shirt. I like the tie shirt myself. The monster ones are always pretty cool since they are unique every time she creates one. The other project is a purse for her mother’s birthday. It is the purple one with the flower on it. The photo that is hard to figure out what is of is the inside of the purse. Also shown are a few more...
Read MoreMacWorld Covershot
The cover of MacWorld of an iPhone for was shot with.. wait for it…. an iPhone 4. This is pretty interesting if not for no other reason than to see the setup that Peter Belanger created to capture the shot. Some are saying technical overkill. I have not see a paper copy of the cover yet but he sure when through a lot of setup to get the shot. I will have to go down to the local magazine store and make sure to see if it is really up to par. I myself, just love the iPhone 4′s new camera. There are so many cool and useful apps being released for the new camera my wife has pretty...
Read MorePanography – See This! Review
Today I picked up a new app called See This! which is short for You Gotta See This!. It might be the worst name for an app I have read yet. The app is pretty unique since I think it is the first app that creates panography. Panography is not panoramic photography. I have been reading comments on the app from people who call themselves pano photographers but they don’t know what panography is so they are not giving it a proper review. They are comparing the See This! app other panoramic apps when they shouldn’t be. Panography is not meant to produce a seamless panoramic image...
