Noah’s First Fall 2006 Match
Here is a slideshow of Noah’s first match for the 2006 Fall season. This is from 09.09.06 and I think they tied at 6-6. It was a pretty cloudy day but it was dry for the game. Noah is second from the left. Click on the image to see a slide show.

I had a pretty good ride on Sunday. It was very hot but I decided to try and put in a few good miles. I ended up going a little over 17 miles. I start out at Center trail and rode the trials for about 12 miles then rode home which is about another 5 miles. My legs were hurting by the time I was within a few miles of home. All in all it was a pretty good ride. There was a lot of logs and sticks on the trail. I had to stop a few times to clear the trail. I also noticed two very large trees down on the trail that I had to lift my bike over. I wonder if they are getting ready to build some...

The last time I was able to ride was June 4th I think. With coaching track, getting ready for the backpacking trip, and work I just have not had the time. Tonights ride seemed very easy. I just seems to fly through on the trail. I am not sure what the deal was but I have not felt like that all summer on my bike. It might has something to do with the fact I have lost almost 10 lbs. in the last 30 days. 6 lbs. from the backpaking trip alone. I jumped on the scale over the 4th weekend and was 199.5 lbs. butt naked. About a month ago I think I was 208.5. Here is an image from Google Earth...

I traveled to Minneapolis, well actually St. Paul, Saturday afternoon. The Minnesota State Master’s meet is a nice meet to jump in despite the three and a half hour drive to get there. They changed the venue with year and it was held at Hamline University on Sunday. The track was nice and the rain held off long enough for the high jumping to finish. I felt pretty good despite sleeping in a dive of a hotel the night before. I will never stay in a Motel6 again. I don’t think I got to sleep until after 2:00 AM. It was cool and over cast so I had to do more than usually to...

Tonight I set out for a long ride. Again starting at my house and riding to the trail instead of driving there. I slept until 11:00 today so I felt tired all day. But I set out in hope of getting close to 30 miles in around 6:45 PM. I felt good riding and rode my normal loop faster that I ever have before. Just recently I start riding in high rear for the entire trail riding except the hilliest parts. Normally I stay in the mid gears but I noticed that I couldn’t keep up with some of the guys from last Monday’s CITA meeting. I bet I am taking about a quarter off my...
