iPhone App Review – iBowl
iBowl is a free game that I downloaded about two weeks ago. Usually free games don’t keep my attention very long or they are a scaled down version of the app you have to pay for to get their full levels. So how does iBowl stack up against the other iPhone games? The game functions much like you would play on the Wii due to the fact that iBowl uses the accelerometers on the iPhone to simulate real bowling movements. To bowl your ball you hold down a button on the screen, swing your arm like you would a real bowling ball and release the button. It really couldn’t be much...

PhotoSwap is a fun application I ran across the other night browsing iTunes for photography apps. PhotoSwap is a free application that lets you swap photos with someone. PhotoSwap will send the photo out into cyberspace to someone that has also just submitted a photo. As far as...

My favorite right now is Track Paths created by Keaka Jackson. It is well designed and simple to use and offers me just about everything I need in a GPS tracking iPhone 3G app. Like the name of the app implies Path Tracker simply tracks your movements just like a dedicated GPS device. What makes Path Tracker so fun is the ability to instantly upload your track to the web. Uploading the track allows you to share and...

I have been playing with the iPhone since I bought it non-stop. It is like having a computer with me at all time. I am McLovin it! I am getting ready to do a few app reviews and one thing I wish I could do is take a screen shot of what I am viewing on my iPhone. Doing a little searching I found that you can indeed take screen shots. Very easy in fact. All you need to do to get a screen shot is hold down the Home button and then press the top (power) button. The screen will flash and the screen shot is saved to your gallery. Very nice. Here are screen shots of all the apps I currently...
