iPad Case DIY
I picked up a cheap $9.99 case to keep the back of the iPad scratch free. I like the orange a lot. I also asked Terra to create me a sleeve to protect the front of the iPad when placed in my work bag. She picked up some material and felt for the inside a few days ago. She even added a pen holder and a pocket for me. it is working out great. Here is the orange...

Just when I thought I had my case all picked out for my iPad Headcase comes along and mucks things up! This is an officially licensed Etch A Sketch case. This oozes retro-coolness. But I am pretty sure my kids would think it is “stupid” since the buttons don’t really control the cursor. Etch A Sketch iPad case cost $39. Real Etch A Sketch cost less than $15. WTF? ...

I saw this one on the web some place so I can’t take credit. Using cheap business card holders for a iPad works perfect. Online these cost about 70 cents if you can find them. Down at the local office supply store they cost about $1.30. These little gems hold the iPad both vertical and horizontal. Great find I have to say. ...

I ordered a cheap rubber case for the iPad today. I really need something now that will protect it from general bumps. At only $9.99 it looked liked a pretty good deal. I choose a nice orange that has a screen protector with it FTW! I have my eye on two cases that I would like to use as a long term solution. Both of these are just so cool that I can’t make a decision. The first is a DODOcase. Here is a little blurb from the DODOcase website. Covers Made from faux leather and constructed using traditional book binding techniques, DODOcase covers are designed to fold back so...

Well, I caved much to my wife’s dismay. It has been brewing for a few weeks. It all started when I wanted to get away from taking notes in notebooks at work. I started looking at iPad apps and the Pogo Stylus. I convinced a guy at work to get the Pogo so we could see how well it works. It worked great. The iPad kind of snowballed from there. Now I am writing this blog post from my new iPad (WIFI 32 GB). I couldn’t be happier and my wife couldn’t be more pissed at me. Actually she did not get too mad. I was able to keep it on the down low for just about 24 hours. I...

Been so busy I never mentioned that I broke my front screen to my iPhone 4 on vacation in CO. As I am sure you can imagine I was devastated. That is not exaggeration either. Well last week I just couldn’t take it any longer and broke down and bought a new screen. I was determined to DYI the work. Parts cost with $164 with two tools I needed. Three hours later I have a new screen in the phone. You don’t even want to know how many screws I have to take out and put back in. I ended up recording the entire thing and streamed it live on Ustream. The recording is below. It is...
