Top 5 I Wish Used Social Spark

Posted by on May 12, 2008 in Apple, Backpacking | 0 comments

I have been looking at the available advertisers on SocialSpark.com over the weekend. There have some good ones but I wish it was better. The model they have is the best out there but I wish they had some specific offer for a handful of companies I like to pimp. If I could hand-pick a few companies I wish used SocialSpark.com these would be them in order of relevance top to bottom. I am a fully converted Apple fan boy. No doubt about it. I really feel sorry for anyone that is still using a Windows machine. Using an apple is equivalent to watching a move in full HD or BluRay on a 100+...

Social Spark is on Fire

Posted by on May 8, 2008 in Websites | 0 comments

As many people know I have been doing a few sponsored blog posts for the past few months. It has worked out pretty well but none of the sites and their methods of service has impressed me. Until now. Enter SocialSpark. Social Spark has been difference for me because it is a social network for both advertisers and bloggers. This summer I plan to take Noah with me for the first time and get in some good hiking in the Colorado Mountain. But right now I need to send in my Vista Cx GPS unit. The darn thing is still broke. So I am just looking around at all the new GPS units out there. I ran across Rocky Mountain Tracking today. They have all kinds of GPS stuff. Not your normal GPS hand...

When I made the switch to my Macbook Pro after being a long time Windows user it was a big eye opener. I had always been a Microsoft guy. But I just got so fed up with Windows I dumped Windows entirely a few years ago. I will never go back. Never! But I did find a few things I did not know how to do. One of them was taking screen shots. Pretty easy on a Windows machine. I did not know how to do it on OS X. I had to find an application to do them on my Macbook until I found a few not well documented tricks. Here is quick guide to screenshots that might help you as a new Mac user. More...

ReadySetFlickr on WTC today

Posted by on Apr 7, 2008 in Wordpress | 0 comments

I just seen that ReadySetFlickr was just announced on the Weblog Tools Collection site tonight for the 4/7 plugin releases. I will be interested to see if this has any impact to traffic or not. Weblog Tools has a pretty nice size following in the WordPress community and a great resource for new plugin and theme released. Good thing I got the blog back to somewhat normal tonight after the database fiasco....
