Mac Mini 4GB Upgrade

I received my 4Gb of RAM today from Egghead. 4GB for $52 can’t really be beat. I love Apple to death but they wanted $200 for an extra 3GB of RAM over the 1GB standard. Not paying that price. So I thought if I was going to crack open the Mac Mini then I was going to max it out. I do not plan to upgrade the hard drive. Had to get a new keyboard to go with the new mini. Decided on the new Bluetooth mini Apple keyboard. Easy as pie to connect. The question is will I miss the number pad? I am not going to pay 69.00 for the Apple wireless mouse so I am on the hunt for another brand bluetooth mouse. Any suggerstion?
