One Cable Short – Doh!

Arrrrr! I need a mini to VGA adapter and Best Buy is closed. I looked at them too when I was there tonight. So all I can do tonight is look at the Mac Mini. It is pretty I guess. On Thursday I ordered a Toslink to Mini adapter to get the Mac Mini doing digital to the stereo. I also picked up a Mini-DVI to HDMI. This will let me do max resolution to the LCD. They should arrive on Tuesday. Tomorrow I will have to pick up a Mini-DVI to VGA to get me by. Here are some photos of the unboxing....

I am always looking for new iPhone photo apps to enhance the iPhone camera. This weekend I found ColorSplash for $1.99 and have been pleasantly surprised. The app allows you to isolate color on a photo and show the rest in black and white. I am sure you have seen the effect before. For starters ColorSplash converts your photo to black and white. With your fingers you ‘paint’ on the image to reveal the original colors. There is only one brush size and I thought that was really limiting at first. I have been on the hunt for a few key iPhone apps lately. Since I am home sick I thought I would mention a few of them today. The first is a decent photo editor.
