New/Old Bicycle
We have a neighbor that is moving. A few weeks ago they had a garage sale and I picked up a year’s forgotten bicycle. A Bianchi Axis that that had not been taken out of its stall in maybe 10+ years. Covered in dust, tires dry rotted, tapped over and lots of tacky add-ons. I couldn’t pass it up for $10 despite having too many bicycles in my own stall. Wife rolls her eye. I knew with a little TLC, soapy water, sponge, and a toothbrush I could make her new again. She just might make a nice light gravel roller. Cue 6 Million Dollar Man music. If you have not noticed there has not been a lot of biking updates here. I have actually bought a new tour bike that I have dubbed The Mothership and have started a new blog that is dedicated just to my biking adventures.
