Yesterday my wife was sick. She ended up puking all day. Not sure if it is the flu or something she ate. Since I have not taken any real time off work I decided to stay home. I took the kids to school in the morning. My wife was sleeping so I though about jumping on my fixie for a few hours. Right before I left I got a package in the mail. The ride out to Adel and back is a great training ride for me. I jump on my fixie try to catch and pass as many of the geared riders as I can. When a lot of people are out on the trail it can be a really fun and challenging ride. I burn over 2000 calories on this ride so perfect for dropping a few pound. Doing it 2-3 time a week is on my summer to-do list. Add in my single track riding and losing a few pound is pretty easy.
