Christmas Photos
Christmas has come and gone at the House of Husar. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves however they celebrate the holiday season. The weather was bad enough that Terra’s parents did not make it this year. It was not quite the same. The Boyds came over on Christmas evening to eat and exchange gifts. Here are is a slide show of the kids opening presents on both Christmas Eve and then when Santa came on Christmas day.

Since I bought my HDTV I have been consumed with building a home media center. Well not consumed but it is the reason for my not posting much to the blog lately. After lots of research, trial and error, numerous posts to forums and friends I have my plans in place. Of at least I think I so. This is the first of a series of posts on my efforts to build my media center. I will be running everything on an older (yet still capable) Mac I have. So, first steps were connecting the Mac to the HDTV. This was easily done with a DVI to VGA cable. The resolution when doing this is 1366x x 768....

The DD07 was on Saturday. This was my first official mt. bike race at the ripe old age of 39. I really did not know what to expect on my ability to ride, run, ride for a total of 17 miles. The course (Center Trail) was familiar so I had that going for me. I was doing the entire race solo since I am hard core like that. Just kidding, but I wanted to experience the entire thing on my own and not do the race with a partner. We started off with a La Mans style start. I have been using my Flickr account more and more lately. One thing I have recently discovered and got into are the Groups. The groups are just like they sound. Like peopel whit similar interest posting photos are a particular topic. A few that I have been submitting images into are the Daily Self Portrait group, the Stereographic Projection, and Create Your Own Worlds groups. The Daily Self Portrait group is pretty fun.
