Old 97′s Coming to Des Moines
My buddy Ben Wantland sent me a text tonight letting me know what the Old 97′s are coming to People’s Oct. 4th. I was pumped since they are on my list of favorite bands I have not seen live yet. Amie St. Music Wednesday I can’t believe it is middle of the week already. I guess when you are busy time flies. I did not have a lot of time this week to look around Amie Street for anything new so I am dropping a Josh Davis Band song for you. As many of you know they are a local band to central Iowa. Well, this weekend is Des Moines first 35/80 Music Festival. It is the first one I think the city has had of this size. You can check out all the details at http://www.80-35.com/. The music line up looks pretty good. The full list and schedule is below. I plan to go on Saturday and take Noah with me. Kids under 2 get in free. Or at least 2 kids per paid adult do.
