iPhone App Molo
We are driving down to KC today so I thought I would do some mobile blogging while my wife drives. I downloaded the new Molo app to my iPhone last night. It is a very fun photography app. It is free this weekend. Molo takes a series of photos either automated with selectabe delay or manual and arranges them in different grid layouts. I am shooting through a dirty window complete with my reflections but here are the four different layout option. My favorite layout is the four photo landscape view. I am always looking for new iPhone photo apps to enhance the iPhone camera. This weekend I found ColorSplash for $1.99 and have been pleasantly surprised. The app allows you to isolate color on a photo and show the rest in black and white. I am sure you have seen the effect before. For starters ColorSplash converts your photo to black and white. With your fingers you ‘paint’ on the image to reveal the original colors. There is only one brush size and I thought that was really limiting at first. usbfever.com has some cool lenses for the iPhone. They are selling a Wide Angle, Fisheye and Telephoto lens. I went a head and ordered the Fisheye lens. The fisheye give 170 degrees of view. That will make for some interesting Polaroids for my http://polaroids.husar.us photo blog. The lens are magnetic so they will work with just about any small camera phone. I have been shooting a lot of Polaroids with the Polarize app on my iPhone. Usually I am snapping off a few iPhone photos just running around town and posting them to flickr.
