Digital Photo Frames
We only have one digital photo frame in our house. I bought the frame for Terra as a gift I think. We keep it stocked with photos all the time. I wonder why we don’t have more digital photo frames? Read More1:1000 Photo Group – Theme: 3-Sided
The theme was 3-sided for this 1:1000 group shoot. I had not idea on what to shoot so I just looked for 3 of anything we had around the house and shot it. I shot in the basement and the lighting is not the best but I did use a tripod this week. These are speaker stand pegs. Interesting color with the gold and red leather from a bar stool. I cropped this down a bit. Don’t have a macro lens. Very interesting DOF on this shot. Played with color and saturation a bit on this one. Blur is from the DOF and not added post processing. Terra and the kids were going up to Wisconsin this weekend to meet her parents and see the grandparents. But a big snow storm was brewing up north so they canceled those plans. I have not posted much over the last few days. Been busy with this and that. I am happy to say I developed my first WordPress plugin and released it today. The PURE Player IVP WordPress Plugin allows panorama photographer using Pure Tools to place packaged IVP panoramas in their post very easily. Here is an example of the plugin in use. I shot the example above a good number of years ago with a pretty crappy camera but it is still one of my favorites. I have been eating up all the new gadgets coming out of CES 2008. We are just on the verge of seeing some incredible things when it comes to shiny things that make us say Ooooo. Here are a few of my favorites that I have seen so far. Sanyo PLC-XL50, Ultra Short Throw Projector This projector sits right up to your wall. I guess it is about 21 inches and can project a 80 inch display. Wow. Now that is incredible. No more having the projector at the back of your room and people getting in the way when they stand up.
