Estes Cone Hike Part 1

Here is our hike up Estes Cone in Rocky Mountain National Park. This is a 7 mile hike round trip and our friends Eric and KT joined up. Ella was a real trooper but not until we started the ascent. Banner Race Prep

I took a half day today at work. At lunch I went home, let the dogs out, took my oldest some Micky-D’s to her school for lunch, then headed down to Banner. Banner Lakes Elevation Map

I took my AMOD data logger out with me today to Banner. I got a pretty good track captured. Taking my track and using the GPS Visualizer site I was able to create the following map that show elevation. I think this was pretty sweet. Zoom in close and you can really get a feel for the elevation changes on the trail. Despite blowing my front tire halfway in I did manage to make a full lap. Saturday’s Ride

Took the mountain bike out for a ride on Saturday. Started at my house and rode to Applebee’s to get some batteries for my GPS data logger out of my Jeep that Terra had at work.
